| |  | | | |  A. Request a general liability insurance certificate from vendor. Most building management companies require a certificate before delivery can be made. Inform your building manager of your schedule. This is important for dock and elevator usage.
B. If vendor is installing your cubicles, service will include unloading the trucks, staging, installing and trash removal to onsite dumpster. If customer is installing, free delivery is only to your loading dock or curb side and if needed, you will need to file any claims for damage to the trucking company. Customer will need to assist driver in unloading. Inside delivery is available for a fee but request must be made in advance otherwise redelivery fee will apply.
C. Make sure you have an empty onsite dumpster for trash disposal (no charge) or schedule offsite disposal of refuse(for a fee).
D. Confirm construction completion date, scheduled delivery and install dates with vendor.
E. Vendor will need to know when placing your cubicle order whether power to cubicles will be from the ceiling, floor or walls. If you are utilizing jacks on your building walls, be sure to plug in cables and/or power strips before cubicles are installed as you will lose access to those ports and plugs when cubicle panels are installed.
F. Confirm with electrical and cabling contractors the exact location of junction boxes. Keep in mind that in addition to cubicle panel measurements on drawings to add 3.5" per dividing cubicle panel for creep. If you are installing floor feeds, we recommend coring and installing junction boxes after the cubicles are installed to maximize leg room.
G. Have cubicle install areas clear of all furniture, computers, boxes, etc.
